Summary

This trial tests whether wearing a light-blocking eye mask at night can improve sleep quality and reduce delirium in patients recovering from coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery. About 100 adults scheduled for elective CABG will wear the mask during nighttime sleep, and their sleep quality and delirium levels will be measured in the days after surgery. The goal is to see if this simple, non-drug approach can support recovery by reducing light exposure that disrupts the sleep-wake cycle.
