Summary

This study compares two drugs, choline fenofibrate and policosanol, in 56 Korean adults with type 2 diabetes and high cholesterol who have early signs of artery plaque. The goal is to see if choline fenofibrate can reduce plaque buildup in the carotid artery, measured by 3D ultrasound. Participants must have controlled diabetes and meet specific cholesterol levels.
