Summary
This study follows 165 adults undergoing bariatric surgery to see if certain pre-surgery traits—like anxiety, depression, eating behaviors, and weight-related quality of life—can predict how their quality of life changes over the two years after surgery. Participants complete questionnaires and have their weight and body measurements taken at several points before and after surgery. The goal is to identify patterns that could help tailor support to individual patients.
