New knee shot targets arthritis pain in early trial

Summary

This early-stage study tests a single injection of AVD275, a new form of the pain reliever celecoxib, in 15 adults with knee osteoarthritis. The goal is to check safety and how the drug spreads in the body. Participants will be monitored for 24 weeks after the shot.
