New knee injection targets arthritis pain without surgery

Summary

This early-stage study tests a single injection of AVD275, a new form of the pain reliever celecoxib, directly into the knee joint. The goal is to check safety and how the drug spreads in the body. About 15 adults with knee osteoarthritis will be followed for 24 weeks.
