New knee injection for arthritis pain enters early human testing

This early-stage study tests a single injection of AVD275, a new form of the pain reliever celecoxib, in 15 people with knee osteoarthritis. The goal is to check the drug's safety and how it spreads in the body. Participants will be monitored for 24 weeks after the injection.
