Summary
This study tested an automated insulin delivery system (a smart pump) in 15 adults with type 1 or type 2 diabetes who also have advanced kidney disease or are on dialysis. Participants used the system for 8 weeks, then switched to their usual care for another 8 weeks. The goal was to see if the smart pump could better control blood sugar levels and improve quality of life compared to standard treatment.
