NCT ID NCT07340788

First seen Jan 20, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study looks at whether pramlintide, a substance similar to a natural hormone called amylin, can cause migraine attacks in people who get migraines without aura. About 21 adults with a history of migraine without aura will receive either pramlintide or a placebo. Researchers will track how many migraine attacks occur in the 12 hours after the infusion to see if pramlintide plays a role in triggering migraines.
