First seen Jul 02, 2026 · Last updated Jul 02, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether a secure website with educational sessions, goal-setting, and tracking tools can help survivors of several cancers (including breast, prostate, colorectal, and others) improve their diet, increase physical activity, and manage weight. Participants are aged 50 or older and have completed primary cancer treatment. The program aims to boost overall health, physical function, and quality of life.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
web-based behavioral intervention (diet and exercise program)
What this could lead to
If successful, this could offer a scalable, low-cost way for cancer survivors to improve their diet, physical activity, and weight, potentially enhancing quality of life and physical function.
What could go wrong
This is a behavioral intervention study, so results depend on participants' adherence. The outcomes are self-reported or measured in a non-clinical setting, and the long-term impact on cancer recurrence or survival is not directly assessed.
