Summary

This study tests whether acupuncture can relieve symptoms of Gulf War Illness, a condition causing long-term health problems in veterans who served in the Gulf region. Two hundred veterans will be split into two groups: one gets acupuncture twice a week for six months, the other waits two months then gets weekly treatments. Researchers will measure changes in physical function using a standard health survey.
