One-Day therapy aims to ease IBD and mental health struggles in veterans

Summary

This study will test a one-day acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) program for 50 veterans who have both inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and a mental health condition like depression, anxiety, or PTSD. The goal is to see if this brief therapy can improve their quality of life and daily functioning. The program is designed to be easy to access within regular gastroenterology care.
