Summary
This study tests whether acetyl L-carnitine, a dietary supplement, can help reduce pain, inflammation, and improve blood sugar control in obese, diabetic, postmenopausal women with osteoarthritis. One hundred women will take either the supplement or a placebo for 12 weeks, alongside their usual treatment. Researchers will measure changes in symptoms, blood markers, and joint health.
