Your phone could help predict chronic pain Flare-Ups

NCT ID NCT05754190

Summary

This study aims to understand how daily pain, mood, and activities are connected, especially as acute pain transitions to chronic pain. Researchers will enroll 800 people with acute pain, chronic pain, or no pain to use a smartphone app (SOMA) for four months to track their daily symptoms. The goal is to identify patterns that can predict who might develop long-term pain or experience pain flare-ups.
