First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study tested whether using at-home monitoring devices (like a wristband pedometer, scale, and blood pressure cuff) can help improve care for cancer patients after they leave the hospital following surgery. The goal was to see if patients could use the equipment and if the data helped staff spot problems early. 22 patients with various cancers took part.
