NCT ID NCT03164122
First seen May 16, 2026 ยท Last updated May 16, 2026
Summary
This study tested a new injection treatment for wrist osteoarthritis in 12 adults who had not improved with standard care. The treatment uses a mixture of the patient's own fat cells and platelet-rich plasma, injected into the wrist joint. The goal was to see if this approach is safe and can reduce pain and improve function, potentially delaying the need for surgery.
