Summary

This study compares two ways to help people with overweight or obesity lose weight: avoiding tempting situations (AVOID) or practicing self-control when faced with cravings (RESIST). About 500 adults will be followed for 12 months to see which approach works better for weight loss and healthier eating. The goal is to find practical strategies that people can use in daily life.
