First seen May 07, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study checked if an Apple Watch can reliably measure heart and fitness data in people with heart conditions or athletes. About 50 adults wore the watch while doing exercise tests, and the watch data was compared to hospital-grade equipment. The goal was to see if smartwatches could be a useful tool for doctors to monitor patients remotely.
