First seen May 02, 2026 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study looks at whether giving L-Citrulline, tetrahydrobiopterin (BH4), and atorvastatin can improve blood vessel function and physical ability in veterans with a type of heart failure called HFpEF. About 90 participants will take these medications and be tested on how well their blood vessels respond and how much they can move. The goal is to find a way to help them feel better and be more active.
