This study tested whether tofacitinib, a drug already approved for other conditions, is safe and helpful for people with Down syndrome who also have immune-related skin problems like eczema, psoriasis, or hair loss. The study included 47 adolescents and adults. Researchers measured safety and changes in skin condition severity, as well as molecular markers of inflammation.
