Summary
This study tested whether the drug tirzepatide, given once weekly, can help people with obesity or overweight maintain weight loss they achieved during a prior diet period. About 441 participants took either tirzepatide or a placebo for 60 weeks. The goal was to see if the drug could prevent weight regain and improve related health issues like high blood pressure or sleep apnea.
