Summary
This phase II trial tests whether time-restricted eating (intermittent fasting) can reduce side effects from radiation or chemoradiation in people with prostate, cervical, or rectal cancers. About 49 participants will either follow a time-restricted eating plan or receive standard nutritional counseling during treatment. The study aims to see if this eating pattern is feasible and helps lower DNA damage in normal tissues, potentially improving how well patients tolerate therapy.
