VA tests virtual workouts to ease Veterans' arthritis pain

NCT ID NCT05666167

Summary

This study is testing whether group exercise classes over video calls are a practical and helpful way for veterans with knee or hip arthritis to stay active. It will enroll 50 inactive veterans to follow a 3-month exercise program, then a 6-month maintenance phase with text reminders or extra video sessions. The main goal is to see if veterans find the program easy to join and stick with, while also checking if it helps reduce arthritis pain and stiffness.
