Summary

This study looks at 70 children and teens with juvenile lupus to see if they have early signs of heart disease. Researchers will use ultrasound to measure the thickness of the carotid artery wall and compare it to healthy children. The goal is to understand how lupus and its treatments affect heart health over time. No new treatment is given; this is an observation-only study.
