New brain clot remover could transform stroke treatment

Summary
This study is testing a new medical device called the Supernova stent retriever for treating acute ischemic strokes caused by large blood clots. The device is designed to physically remove clots from blocked brain arteries to restore blood flow. Researchers will enroll 100 stroke patients to see how well the device works at clearing clots and whether it helps patients recover with less disability.
