New shortcut for blood pressure treatment? study tests quicker kidney nerve procedure

Summary
This study tests a faster version of a procedure called renal denervation, which uses energy to calm overactive nerves in the kidneys that can raise blood pressure. The goal is to see if the quicker approach works as well as the standard method for lowering blood pressure in people with uncontrolled hypertension. About 130 adults with high blood pressure will take part. The study compares procedure time and blood pressure changes to results from earlier studies.
