Sleep pill may slow Alzheimer's brain changes

Summary
This study tests whether the sleep aid suvorexant can slow the buildup of a protein called amyloid in the brain, which is linked to Alzheimer's disease. About 200 healthy adults aged 65 and older will take either the drug or a placebo for a period of time. Researchers will measure amyloid levels in blood and spinal fluid to see if better sleep can help protect the brain.
