Summary

This study looked at whether sleeping longer (over 7 hours a night) can improve how the body processes sugar in people with obesity and early signs of insulin resistance. 31 participants were split into two groups: one aimed to sleep more, the other kept their usual sleep habits. The goal was to measure changes in insulin sensitivity, which is how well the body responds to insulin.
