Summary

This study looked at whether a type of diabetes medicine called SGLT2 inhibitors can help people with severe heart failure who also have a mechanical heart pump (LVAD). Researchers measured changes in heart size, weight, and kidney function over 6 months in 32 adults. The goal was to see if the drug could improve heart health and reduce fluid buildup.
