Summary
This study tested a weekly injection of semaglutide (2.4 mg) in 242 adults who were overweight or had obesity. Participants received either the drug or a placebo for about 44 weeks. The main goals were to see how much weight people lost and how many lost at least 5% of their body weight. The study is complete and results are available.
