Summary
This study tests if a once-weekly injection of semaglutide can help adults with overweight or obesity avoid gaining weight after they stop smoking. About 197 participants will receive the drug or a placebo, and researchers will track changes in body weight, body fat, and appetite control. The goal is to make quitting smoking easier by removing the fear of weight gain.
