First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated Jun 11, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study is testing whether a special in-ear device can safely and accurately detect seizures by measuring brain waves. Researchers will first test the device on 5 healthy volunteers, then on 10 people with epilepsy who are already scheduled for a standard scalp EEG. The goal is to see if the in-ear device works as well as the traditional method, with a focus on comfort and accuracy.
