Summary

This study tested a program to help pregnant women with overweight or obesity avoid gaining too much weight. The program included setting goals, tracking weight, learning skills, and getting support from WIC counselors. 416 women from Philadelphia WIC took part, and researchers measured how many stayed within healthy weight gain targets.
