First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looks at whether giving patients with bone or soft tissue sarcoma a special nutritional supplement twice daily before surgery can reduce complications and help maintain muscle mass. About 100 adults scheduled for tumor removal will be randomly assigned to receive either the supplement plus standard care or standard care alone. The main goal is to see if the supplement lowers the rate of serious problems within 30 days after surgery.
