Summary

This study looked at how sleep apnea might make brain problems worse after surgery. Researchers enrolled 32 adults with moderate-to-severe sleep apnea who were scheduled for surgery. They used brain scans and memory tests before surgery, two days after, and six months later to track changes in thinking and confusion.
