First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study looks at platelets (small blood cells) found in brain and spinal cord tumors. Researchers want to see if platelets help tumors grow or spread, and if their presence is linked to patient survival. About 50 adults having tumor surgery will donate a small piece of their tumor for analysis. No new treatments are given; this is purely to gather information.
