First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study looks at whether adding peanuts to daily meals helps people on GLP-1 medications (like semaglutide or tirzepatide) feel fuller, have more energy, and improve their diet quality. Researchers will follow 64 adults who have been on these meds for at least 6 months. Over 12 weeks, participants will eat peanuts daily, and the team will measure changes in hunger, fatigue, mood, body composition, and blood markers.
