NCT ID NCT03511846

First seen Feb 19, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study looks at how headache disorders like migraine and cluster headaches affect pain signals in the body. Researchers will use capsaicin (from chili peppers) and ice water to trigger mild pain or tearing, then measure changes in molecules and tear production. The goal is to better understand these conditions, not to treat them. About 371 adults with or without headaches will take part.
