This trial tests whether adding trans-spinal electromagnetic neuromodulation to standard physical therapy can reduce pain and improve function in people with chronic lumbosacral radiculopathy—a condition where a herniated disc presses on spinal nerves, causing pain, numbness, or weakness in the lower back and leg. About 30 adults aged 20 to 40 with confirmed disc herniation will receive either physical therapy alone or physical therapy plus 15-minute sessions of electromagnetic stimulation on the affected area. Researchers will measure changes in pain, disability, nerve signals, and leg mobility to see if the added treatment makes a meaningful difference.
