Summary

This study compares two treatments for chronic low back and leg pain caused by a herniated disc: high-intensity laser therapy and a steroid injection into the spine. About 24 adults aged 18 to 65 with pain lasting over three months will be randomly assigned to one of the two treatments. Both groups will also do a home exercise program. Researchers will measure pain, disability, and quality of life over 12 weeks to see which approach works better.
