Can a daily pill keep the weight off after stopping injectables?
NCT ID NCT06584916
First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This phase 3 trial tests whether a daily oral drug called orforglipron can help people with obesity or overweight maintain weight loss they achieved with injectable tirzepatide or semaglutide. About 376 participants who completed a prior weight-loss study will receive orforglipron or a placebo. The main goal is to see how well they keep the weight off over time.
