Summary

This study tested whether a daily semaglutide tablet helps Chinese adults with overweight or obesity lose weight. About 200 participants took either the tablet or a placebo for 44 weeks, along with guidance on healthy eating and physical activity. The main goals were to measure the percentage of weight lost and how many people lost at least 5% of their body weight.
