First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looks at how people with severe obesity perceive internal body signals (like hunger and fullness) before and after bariatric surgery. Researchers will follow 300 adults for two years to see if changes in body awareness and views on illness affect eating behaviors after surgery. The goal is to better understand psychological factors that influence long-term weight and eating outcomes.
