New scan aims to sharpen the picture for cancer detection

NCT ID NCT06851663

Summary

This study is testing a new type of imaging scan to see if it can better detect and monitor many different solid tumors. The scan uses a special tracer that attaches to a protein called Trop2, which is often found on cancer cells. Researchers will compare this new scan to standard imaging methods to see if it is more accurate for diagnosing cancer, tracking its spread, and seeing how well treatments are working.
