NCT ID NCT04815967
First seen Jun 07, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study tested a medicine called MYOBLOC to see if it can reduce muscle tightness in the arm or hand of adults who had a stroke, brain injury, or spinal cord injury. About 32 people took part, and some received the drug while others got a placebo (a shot with no medicine). The goal was to measure changes in muscle stiffness and overall function four weeks after treatment. The study was stopped early, so results are limited.
