New MRI study aims to unlock secrets of premature Babies' lungs

Summary

This study uses MRI scans to learn how the lungs grow and develop in premature babies, especially those with a breathing problem called BPD. Researchers will look at lung structure and function in about 160 infants during quiet breathing. The goal is to better understand prematurity and BPD to improve future care.
