First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tested whether a simple mindfulness exercise—noticing natural changes in mood and body throughout the day—could improve wellbeing for couples dealing with infertility. 70 patients and their partners took part. The goal was to see if this low-cost, easy-to-learn approach could reduce stress and boost emotional health during a difficult time.

What this could lead to
If it works, this could offer a simple, low-cost way to reduce stress and improve emotional health for people struggling with infertility.
What could go wrong
This is a small, early-stage study with only 70 participants. The main goal is to measure wellbeing, not pregnancy rates, so any effect on fertility is uncertain.
