First seen Jun 14, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study looks at whether a mindfulness program called MB-EAT can help people who have had bariatric surgery maintain their weight loss and improve their mental and physical health. About 85 participants will be split into two groups: one that takes the mindfulness class and one that does not. Researchers will track weight, blood pressure, eating habits, and mood over a year to see if the training makes a difference.
