Mental health boost for sarcoma surgery patients shows promise

Summary
This study looks at whether giving sarcoma patients early access to mental healthcare before and after surgery can help reduce depression and anxiety. About 60 adults with bone or soft tissue sarcoma will be randomly assigned to get either early psychiatric support or usual care. The goal is to see if this approach is practical and improves patients' emotional well-being and quality of life.
