This study investigates whether a blood marker called anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH) can predict future infertility in children and adolescents who have undergone cancer treatment. Many young patients recover normal menstrual cycles or puberty after chemotherapy, but their ovarian reserve may be damaged, leading to infertility later. The trial follows 275 patients aged 3 to 14 with varying cancer treatment risks, measuring AMH levels and comparing them to treatment intensity and ovarian function over time. If AMH proves to be a reliable marker, it could help identify those who might benefit from fertility preservation procedures.
