Transplant moms' kids get first-ever long-term health study

Summary
This study looks at the long-term health of children (age 16 and older) whose mothers had a solid organ transplant before pregnancy. Researchers want to see if these children have higher risks for heart or kidney problems, possibly due to the mother's anti-rejection medicines. About 200 participants will have a one-time check-up including blood pressure, kidney ultrasound, and blood/urine tests. The goal is to better understand any health effects and improve future counseling for transplant patients who wish to become pregnant.
