Summary

This trial tests whether infrared laser therapy can relieve pain and speed healing in people with chronic venous leg ulcers — slow-healing wounds on the lower leg caused by poor blood flow. About 20 adults with ulcers lasting more than four weeks will receive either real laser treatment or a sham light. Researchers will measure pain levels and wound size over time to see if the laser makes a difference.
